Victor Rey Beltran is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Notre Dame of Marbel University (2003) and a Master’s in Divinity with a major in Christian Leadership (2007). As a professional licensed teacher, Victor has developed a deep expertise in music and arts, impacting multiple schools by enhancing their music departments, training teachers, and inspiring students.
He spearheaded and established the Music Department Curriculum at Varee Chiangmai International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, from 2017 to 2019, and enhanced and expanded the Music Department at Satit International Bilingual School, Chiang Mai, Thailand, from 2019 to 2021.
He currently teaches at an international school in Bangkok.
His experience spans IGCSE Music, IB Music for Years 11 and 12, and Music for EYFS and PYP levels.
Victor is particularly passionate about developing creative ways for EYFS and Primary students to engage with music. Through his innovative methods, he has empowered young learners to explore the joy of music from an early age.
Mr. Victor took EthnoArts/EthnoMusicology Training at Payap University Graduate School in Chiangmai, Thailand in 2013. He is also a Certified Media and Music Specialist and got his special training at Media Hub Chiangmai last 2014.
He is so passionate in learning different art forms of varying cultures and pushed him to travel in some parts of Mainland Asia and did some research and recorded different forms of music.
He has been teaching for more than 15 years and more experienced in the field of music and visual arts. He is so gifted in dealing children even those who have special needs and abilities.
He is able to play and teach musical instruments like Guitar (acoustic and electric), Bass guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Synthesizers Keyboard, Drums, Alto Sax, Recorder (Soprano and Alto). Aside from playing and teaching music, he also direct choir, coach voices and train vocal ensembles.
He had rich experiences in audio recording, live band, and solo performances. Organizing productions like stage musical and drama presentations, music recitals and live concerts are his craft.
He also had experience as Music Therapist at a Rehabilitation center for the mentally challenged and recovering addicts both substance and behavior.
